It was a fiesty battle as 30 minutes in penalties were assessed. Ftorek squared off with Leduc, and Marsh batted Cloutier in a pair of spirited fisticuffs .

Game Hilites

It was a defensive struggle in the first period as the Stingers Legge scores the only goal of the period.
The Jets pulled in the second period on goals from Nilsson and Lidstrom.
The Stingers tied it up in the third period but with less than 5 minutes to play the Jets score 3 goals in 3 shots on Stingers goalie Dion to pull ahead for the 5 – 3 victory.
