Welcome to the team machine where the possibilities are only limited to your imagination. The Imagine Hockey Board Game Player Cards are based on the statistics of real players. The players basic stats such as games played, goals, assists, penalty minutes and plus/minus are entered into the Hockey Team Machine. Simply enter any players basic statistics into the Team Machine. Then press a button to Activate the Team Machine and Presto! The real players statistics you entered are converted into player cards with Action Numbers that reflect the real players playing prowess and style. You can add up to 10 players at a time. A PDF with the players cards is ready to print or saved to print at a later time.

Re-create History

Build team(s) from history with real names and real teams. Re-create a historical tournament or playoff. Or even have a full schedule of games with playoffs. Simply enter the players names and statistics into the Team Machine and presto, you have printable cards ready for action.

Enter your favorite teams statistics from the 60s to make one team . Then enter you favorite teams statistics from 1981 to make another team. Play them head to head and see who comes out on top. Or have the battle of the sexes with one team made from statistics from a mens team and another from the statistics of a womens team and play them head to head. Or go big and re-create a league or division of a league from history. Create the player cards of each team and replay history with a full schedule and playoffs. Have an international tournament by entering the stats of players from different nationalities and creating National Teams. The possibilities really are endless!

Get creative and replace players and teams names with fun names, celebrities, players from other sports, people from history ect. Like we have done with the teams included in the game. For example we choose 6 teams from the NHL over history, entered the players statistics and for fun renamed the teams and players.

You can see which players statistics we used and the names we gave them here. Use the same stats for two different teams only changing names and numbers this makes the two teams exactly even leaving the success to chance and coaching. This is a great way for kids to enjoy the game.

Be A Player Too

With the flexibility of the Hockey Team Machine you can even put yourself into the line-up. Pick any players statistics you would like to be, enter their statistics into the Team Machine. Then enter you own name and presto you have your own player card. Put yourself on a line with two of your favorite players and you’re in the game! Imagine taking a pass from a legend and shooting top corner on another legend!

Perfectly Even Play

Part of the fun of the game is playing teams and players that are different from one another. One team might pull an upset against a stronger team. Or a team with offensive power might be pitted against a team that is strong defensively with good goaltending. However if you would like both teams to be exactly the same so that its coach against coach on a perfectly even playing field. Then you use the same stats for two different teams only changing names and jersey numbers . Only the start and ending numbers of the actions on the 2 similiar player cards are different. This makes the two teams exactly even leaving the success to chance and coaching. May the best coach win!
