We have spent many,many hours playing games, tweaking, our Hockey Team Machine, playing more games, reprinting player cards, trying again, and again and again until we felt we have hit the sweet spots in terms of our Hockey Team machine converting real life statistics into acurate player cards.

Once we were satisfied with our Hockey Team machine made player cards we tested over a total of 81 games. We compared with real life for similiar shots per game, goals per game, save percentages, goals against, penalties, penalty kill, and powerplay. Of course even if you have the perfect formula you will get varying results so we looked at overall totals as the defining factor.

For our game trials we used the teams we include in the game. There are 10 teams in total, each teams players were created in our Hockey team machine from the stats of real players on elite teams throughout history. The list below compares the real life teams stats to the stats of our Teams that were made from there real life stats.
