How long does a game take?
Anywhere from a half hour to an hour depending on experience and level of the game

How many players can play a game?
Up to 5 People can play at the same time. The game can be played as Solitaire 1 per side, 2 per side and an additional person can referee.
– You can play the solo by making player changes to both teams and rolling the dice for both teams.
– You can play head to head with you coaching one team and another person coaching the opposing team.
– 4 Persons – One person coaches the forwards, another person coaches the defencemen for each team.
– You can also add a referee. The referee can turn the cards and call the numbers and more.

Is the Imagine Hockey Board Game hard to learn?
Not at all. It may look difficult with all of the numbers but a person quickly becomes familiar with checking the action numbers and making the game fast paced and exciting. The game has been tested and balanced for a realistic hockey experience while at the same time making the game easy to play without ever becoming boring.

Is there different levels to the game?
The Imagine Hockey Board Game has been designed to keep it simple and fun for all or go all the way with competitive games .
Just like any hockey theres fun rec leagues all the way up to pro. You can play the game with just 6 players and no line changes or penalties OR you can play the game with 3 full lines and defence pairs and 2 goalies. You can have small 10 minute scrimmage games with no penalties or full 60 minutes with 3 periods and overtime. How you play the game is up to you.

What if I get bored with the teams?
The Imagine Hockey Board game comes with 6 printed Teams. Each team has 18 skaters and 2 goalies.
The teams are based on real teams and real players from history and have been hand picked by our dev team. These teams will keep the action exciting for a long time however once you are a pro at the game you may want to expand and create more teams and players. Thats where the Team Machine comes in.

What is the Team Machine?
The Team Machine was invented by Imagine Hockey to give buyers of the Imagine Hockey Board Game the ability to create therir own players and teams. The Team Machine converts real players stats into player cards reflecting the players strengths and weaknesses such as shooting, passing, defensive play and more.
